A group of stockings have weights in one leg, while the other is pinned to the ceiling stretching them from ceiling to floor.

Statement

The work uses the erotic nature of the stockings and the confrontation in their display to speak about the power of sexuality. “Can’t see the forest for the trees” is an expression that refers to someone who is too involved in the details of a problem to look at the situation as a whole.
