An instant, of Desire

An Instant, of Desire is a series of approximate 10 works. The sizes and materials varied, however most of the materials are industrial and / or domestic. They have been grouped as they share similar conceptual concerns.

An Instant, of Desire is a group of works that was created in a new studio space. The artist brought to the work a sense of freedom and exuberance that had been missing. However, she brought to the surface many of the concerns dealing with gender and sexuality that had preoccupied her in the past. Industrial and domestic materials are used in many of the works as found objects or transformed to reference and / or allude to issues of power, sexuality and vulnerability.
