Borello is an Argentinean-Canadian multidisciplinary artist living in Montreal. She comes from an Argentinean middle class family; and she grew up within an academic household.

Her works grows out of a need to understand her relationship with the world through the experience of the body. A lot of the materials used in her three dimensional works comes from the everyday and the domestic spheres, as such it requires simple manipulation techniques and it demands an intense production effort. She is also interested in the erotic nature of some materials and she would like to have the viewer be seduced by the experience of the work.
